Jellybeanj Illustration is my own ongoing digital art series where I combine my love of animals, puns and digital drawing to create designs which I then apply to greetings cards, cushions and more. You can buy these from my shop Here!

These fun designs started in 2016 as part of a university project. I wanted to explore digital art, as I was reluctant to try as I loved traditional media so much. However, after hours of experimenting with a Waccom and Photoshop, using layers and opacity to make texture, I realised digital art doesn't have to be flat!

I had a lot of fun creating the initial 6 designs; Snailed-It, Alpaca My Bags, You've Got to be Squidding Me, I Love You Like No Otter, You are Amoosing and Owl Always Love You. They proved popular among friends and family, so I decided to start selling them at stalls and through my Facebook Page. I even entered a competition with my designs at Ohh Deer where the illustrations were printed on cushions and proved very popular- I came 3rd with I Love You Like No Otter.

After graduating from uni, I carried on Jellybeanj Illustrations alongside my full time job to make sure I never lost my love of drawing. I designed 4 Christmas cards in 2016 which became a hot-seller! This is when I set up my professional shop Jellybeanj Illustration where customers from all over could buy my products. I held a competition on social media for followers to get involved with their festive pun creations which I then chose a winner from and brought to life.

In 2017, I extended the series and brought in 4 more designs; Happy Bird-Day, Happy Bear-Day, Thank Ewe and Have a Purr-fect Day. These designs are more targeted for specific occasions and events and customers were more prompted to buy them.

I also added the Flamingo and Giraffe designs to the collection. The Flamingo was actually a private commission and the Giraffes were simply me one-day really just wanting to draw some giraffes! I left the designs without any typography so they can be applied to any occasion - They both proved to be very popular on cushions.

My most recent Jellybeanj additions are my Christmas 2017 range; Collie & the Ivy, Fa la la la la la la Llama, A Whale in a Manger and the competition winner; Dachshund Through the Snow. Again, I sold these online and at stalls. I feel these most recent designs have progressed in my digital working as I had bought a Microsoft Surface Pro (which is now referred to as 'My Baby'.

I have recently closed my online Jellybeanj shop and combined it here to run through this website so all my online presence are in one place! I will be adding to the collection every year, so watch this space!
